I've raised £5000 to The Club Talks to help provide Mental Health First Aid Training for PGA Pros/Club Staff and to help CALM staff mental health helplines

Suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 45.
Golf can be an incredible sport for helping people with their mental health as it requires calm, focus and combines exercise outdoors along with allowing people to have a good chat with their mates.
Since the lockdowns started in March 2020, mental health has been an issue for many, especially where they have not been able to meet up with friends and play their favourite sport. With golf about to return, 2021 will be a big year in getting people out again.
Partnering with CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), The Club Talks is working with Golf Clubs across the UK to raise funds to:
• Provide Mental Health First Aid Training for PGA Pros/Club Staff
• Work with CALM to provide lifesaving helplines for those with mental health issues
50% of all funds raised will go to CALM, where:
• £8 pays for a potentially lifesaving call
• £74,000 pays for a someone to sit on their helpline for a whole year
• For every £1,000 CALM invested in their helpline, they actually saved a life
